Calculator inputs
- The numbers you type into a calculator are processed by code running in your own browser.
- Our calculator code does not send them to our server, does not save them in cookies or browser storage and does not link them to any account.
- They are not included in advertising requests by our code.
- They disappear when you reset the form, reload or leave the page.
- If you download results as a file, the file is created in your browser and saved on your device.
Choosing a currency or language does not store anything either: the language is part of the page address, and the currency choice is lost when you leave the page.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, topic and message you enter, plus the language of the page.
- Purpose
- To read and, where appropriate, reply to your message.
- How it is handled
- The form is sent over HTTPS to our web server, which forwards it by email to the site owner’s mailbox. Your email address is set as the reply-to address so we can answer you. The message is not saved in a database on the web server.
- Retention
- Messages stay in the site owner’s mailbox until they are deleted. They are not used for marketing. You can ask us to delete your correspondence.
- Abuse protection
- To limit spam, the server keeps a short-lived counter of recent submissions, keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address. A minimal log records the time, the hashed IP address, the topic, the page language and whether the submission was accepted or rejected, but never your name, email address or message. These records are kept for up to 30 days.
- Session cookie
- Opening the form may set a session cookie used only for a security token that protects against forged submissions. It expires when you close your browser or after a short period.
- Email providers
- Email passes through our hosting provider’s mail server and the recipient mailbox provider, which process it under their own policies.
Please do not send bank statements, passwords, account numbers or other sensitive details through the form.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider’s web server automatically records technical information about each request, such as the IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page, browser type and response status. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems. Retention of these logs is set by the hosting provider; we do not combine them with other data to identify visitors.
Advertising and cookies
The public website shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalise and measure ads, depending on your location, your settings and any consent you have given. This can include information about your visits to this and other websites.

Where the law requires consent for advertising cookies, a consent message may be shown; use its choices to give or withdraw consent. This site has not built its own consent banner, and we do not claim to operate a certified consent management platform ourselves. Advertising is not shown on error pages.
What we do not do
- We do not run a separate analytics or tracking script of our own.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not ask you to create an account.

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

When the way the site handles information changes, this page and the date at the top are updated.
